Honest and heartfelt are the words that come to mind when thinking of singer-songwriter Victoria Bigelow. Drawing inspiration from artists like Norah Jones and Hope Sandoval, a childhood notion turned into passion; songwriting became Victoria’s asylum. At the age of 14, only two years of playing guitar and writing music, she decided to make the move to Nashville where she found herself writing in rooms with some of Nashville’s best, and, at 16, landing her first TV sync on the CW’s ‘Hart of Dixie’ . After a brief stint in college Victoria spent some time recalibrating and focusing on her mental health before moving back to Nashville where she formed her first band ‘Victoria and the Hive’. A year after forming her band life happened and Victoria found out she was expecting her first child, Elliott. Soon after his birth, needing time to adjust to this new way of thinking traded the city for the country and made a move to divide their time between a beautiful farm in upstate New York and Nashville, where Victoria was able to focus solely on motherhood and songwriting. She recently decided that, with her new licensing/sync deal with Sorted Noise and other major opportunities coming her way, it was the right time for a move back to Nashville. Victoria has released three well received singles from her forthcoming EP “Going Blue”. Her first single“Low” has surpassed all expectations! With the help of Grammy Award Winning Producer/EngineerDavid Leonard, Producer Ross Rice and Longtime Collaborator and Producer Todd Bradley, recording “Going Blue” has been received with critical acclaim. And, along withVictoria’s other creative endeavors this year, she already has an extremely busy start to 2019. Now, at 24, she’s eager to share the artist that she has become and is still becoming… Stay Tuned!
